Eagle Eye Detailing ("we", "us") is a mobile car detailing business serving Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Westlake Village, Oak Park, Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Topanga, Malibu, Simi Valley, Moorpark, Camarillo, Somis, Oxnard, Port Hueneme and nearby areas of Ventura and Los Angeles counties. This policy explains what information we collect through eagledetails.com and when you book with us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you book, we collect your name, mobile number, email address, service address and ZIP code, your vehicle's year, make and model (and any other cars you add), the service and extras you want, your appointment time, who referred you if you tell us, and any notes you add.
Payment information. We do not take payments on this website. You pay by cash or Zelle on the day of your detail. Zelle payments are handled by Zelle and your bank under their own privacy policies.
Information collected automatically. Only if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects information such as your browser and device type, the pages you visit, how you reached our site and your approximate location (city level). See our cookie policy.
Saved on your device. While you book, your answers are saved in your own browser so you don't lose them if you leave the page. They are cleared when you send your booking. We can't see them until you send.
Photos. We may photograph your vehicle before and after a detail to document its condition. As our terms explain, we may post them on our website and social media with license plates and personal items out of view, unless you tell us not to. Ask us anytime and we will take them down.
How we use it
- To reply to your booking, confirm your appointment and schedule it.
- To perform the service at your address.
- To email you a booking confirmation and a reminder the day before your appointment.
- To text or call you about your booking, including weather rescheduling.
- To apply referral and multi-car discounts.
- To understand how people use the site so we can improve it (only with your consent).
- To keep records required for taxes and to meet legal obligations.
We only text you about your booking. We will not send marketing texts unless you separately agree to them. Reply STOP at any time to stop texts.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with services that help us run the business:
- Google, for Google Calendar (where bookings are stored), and Analytics (if you accept)
- Resend, which sends booking confirmation and reminder emails
- Our mobile carrier, which delivers a text to our own phone with your booking details so we can reply quickly
- Netlify, which hosts this website and runs the booking system
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your booking information, and the emails and texts we exchange with you, until you ask us to delete them. When you ask, we delete it, except anything we must keep for tax or other legal reasons. Google Analytics data is deleted automatically after 14 months.
Your choices
- Change your cookie choices at any time using Cookie settings in the site footer.
- Ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing arsaellkjartans@gmail.com or texting (747) 241-4798. We respond within 45 days.
- Stop texts at any time by replying STOP.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Our site does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a choice to reject optional cookies.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including HTTPS on this site and access controls on our accounts. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and post the new version on this page.
